Bayly Gaffney, Ed.S specializes in working with children, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and stress management, offering a warm and collaborative space to build confidence, emotional insight, and lasting skills.
Growing up is hard, whether you’re navigating school stress, shifting friendships, anxiety, big emotions, or simply figuring out who you are. I work with children, adolescents, and young adults who are in the thick of it, helping them feel more understood, confident, and supported along the way.
I would describe my therapy approach as warm, curious, and connected. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up, feel safe being yourself, and take steps toward meaningful change, no matter how big or small. Whether you’re the parent of a struggling child or a young adult facing a new transition, you can expect clear communication, thoughtful care, and a strong commitment to progress.
A little bit about my background and experience, before pursuing my LPCC, I spent over four years as a school psychologist supporting middle and high school students with anxiety, depression, learning challenges, and executive functioning skills. I’ve also coached youth volleyball and led after-school programs, which strengthened my ability to connect with kids and teens in a way that felt engaging and approachable.
My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stress management, and life transitions. I am currently completing my clinical internship at Thrive Therapy and earning my LPCC licensure through the University of Wisconsin–Superior.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy reading across genres, exploring local coffee shops, and spending time with my husband and our two cats, Beans and Pinto. I’m a Taylor Swift fan, a believer in the mental health benefits of time outdoors, and am building a yoga practice of my own.
If you’re looking for someone to support your child, teen, or yourself, I’d feel honored to be a part of that.
My specific areas of concentration include;
● Anxiety
● Depression
● Children, Adolescents/Teens
● Relationship issues
● Stress management
