Simply put, Bayly loves to work with kids, adolescents, and young-adults to navigate the trials and tribulations of growing up, facing life’s transitions, and discovering their strengths along the way. Bayly’s approach to therapy is starts with empathy while building a meaningful and collaborative therapeutic relationship. It is her goal to help individuals feel safe, understood, and empowered in their ability to effect change in their lives.
In addition to working as a School Psychologist with kids and adolescents in grades 5th through 12th for the last 4 years, Bayly J. Gaffney is also an Interning with Thrive Therapy. She is working towards completing the educational requirements through at UW-Superior to obtain her Licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Minnesota. She has her Master’s degree and Education Specialist degree in School Psychology from UW-Whitewater, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Ethnic and Racial Studies at UW-La Crosse.
Bayly has a variety of work experiences that contribute to her skillset as a therapist including coaching volleyball, working with students with disabilities and running an after-school program that specializes in executive functioning support and homework skills.
In her free-time, Bayly enjoys spending time with her husband and her two cats, Beans and Pinto. She enjoys reading and exploring different genres and perspectives. She enjoys listening to music, especially Taylor Swift, and finding new coffee shops in the South Metro. She encourages exercise (especially outside) and has begun dabbling in the practice of yoga.
