Kinisha works with children (5+), teens, adults, and families navigating anxiety, parenting stress, grief, and CPS-related challenges.
Life can feel heavy, especially when you’re juggling family demands, big emotions, past pain, or major transitions. Whether you’re a parent feeling stretched thin, your child is having a hard time putting emotions into words, or someone working through grief or burnout, you deserve support. My goal is to provide a calm, caring space in therapy where we can make sense of what’s going on and start finding a way forward together.
I work with children (ages 5+), teens, adults, and families facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, parenting stress, women’s health concerns, and difficult family dynamics, particularly after CPS involvement. I also offer affirming care for BIPOC individuals seeking support in spaces that haven’t always felt safe or validating.
My approach to therapy is gentle, collaborative, and compassionate. I integrate solution-focused and strength-based practices with a holistic lens that makes space each client’s unique story, cultural context, and goals. With children, I often use play therapy and the Developmental Repair Model to support emotional development, connection, and resilience.
Whether you’re working to better manage stress, heal from painful experiences, or create more ease in your relationships, I’ll meet you with curiosity and empathy to help you move forward at your own pace.
